Cultivating Community
Mealani's Taste of the Hawaiian Range is an enjoyable learning and networking experience for its many participants. Ranchers and farmers provide the fresh, local food for chefs to prepare. Vendors hook up with isle chefs and wholesale buyers at the trade show and then talk story with attendees at the evening Taste. In addition, ag-related organizations connect with the community, offering informative displays.
Numerous volunteers help put together the event, whether setting up food stations or providing logistics. Taste is an opportunity for all to get involved in cultivating community.
